Amazon sells the broadcast of James Bond films available from January on Netflix

Good news for fans of James Bond. Thanks to an agreement between Amazon and Netflix, certain films by the British spy will now be available on the Netflix platform. From January 15, Netflix will offer classics like Die another day (2002), Quantum of Solace (2008), Heavy rain (2012) et Dying can wait (2021). Other films, like Rocky (1976), Creed (2015), et Blonde’s Revenge (2001) will also be available, as will original series like The Man in the High Castle.

This agreement follows the broadcast of the series Hunters by David Weil, which aired for two seasons on Prime Video. The series is now available on Netflix this month.

James Bond films will be available on Netflix for three months in several countries, including the United States, Germany, France and Italy. As for Huntersthe series will be available for one year in the same countries.

An unexpected agreement

In March 2022, the historic MGM studio joined the e-commerce giant Amazon and in February 2025, the American studios Amazon MGM took creative control of the James Bond franchise after an agreement with the historic producers of the films. Chris Ottinger, Director of Worldwide Distribution at Amazon MGM Studios, explained: “ When Amazon acquired MGM, its goal was to continue offering MGM’s iconic catalog to its streaming and television partners around the world.
