The drama in the Beckham family is far from calm: After the Daily Mail first reported that David and Victoria Beckham had unfollowed their eldest son Brooklyn – Cruz Beckham, the younger brother, broke his silence and insisted that was absolutely not the story.
In the story he uploaded, Cruz shared a screenshot of the article from the British website and wrote under it in capital letters: “This is a lie. My parents would never remove an Instagram follower from their son, let’s get the facts straight – they woke up and found out they were blocked, and so was I.”
A close family member told the Daily Mail: “David and Victoria will never stop loving their son, they are devastated by this situation.”
Beyond that, in recent months Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz have been conspicuously absent from important family events such as father David’s 50th birthday party and also from the event of Beckham’s coronation as “Sir” by King Charles.
