I convinced myself that I’m a billionaire.” The singer also said that following her wasteful behavior, she has been in EMDR therapy for four months, a therapeutic method that focuses on processing emotional experiences and harmful behavior patterns. According to her, the treatment helped her disconnect between her sense of self-worth and the need to shop.

It is impossible to separate Ellen’s confession from the difficult last year, during which she experienced a painful divorce from her partner, the actor and star of “Stranger Things” David Harbour, who later learned that he also cheated on her, which caused her to be hospitalized in a trauma clinic.
