In the video she uploaded to Instagram, Tegan is seen as she and the children try to grow sweets in pots, as part of an attempt to create a family tradition for the holiday. The idea involved planting candies and watering them, when at night Tegan secretly replaced the candies with a bigger one each time – creating an illusion of the candies growing.
On the third day, when she tried to open a particularly stubborn candy wrapper, she used her teeth and thus her tooth fell out. “I tried to open one of these and my tooth just fell out,” Teigen said while laughing for the camera and revealing a toothless smile. But there’s nothing to worry about, Tegan reassured the viewers who are used to opening candy wrappers with their teeth when she said that it’s not her real tooth, and it’s a porcelain coating.
And the timing of this outburst? Perfect – not just a few days before Christmas, but the next day she had a holiday recital for her youngest son at school.
