Madrid City Council clarifies that the Casa de Alba requests authorization for renovations in several buildings, not a change of use

The vice mayor of Madrid, Inma Sanz has clarified that the House of Alba has requested authorization to undertake renovations in several buildings it owns near the Liria Palace but “not a change of residential use“.

From Puerta del Sol, Sanz has transferred the information that the Urban Planning area has after the newspaper ‘El País’ has published that the Casa de Alba “does not renew the contract of 75 families, who believe they will build tourist apartments” in their homes.

“It is not the information that we have, What has been requested from the Madrid City Council is a reform of these buildings, but in no case a modification of the residential use.“, remarked the municipal spokesperson.
