“Six spectacular scenes”: Tomorrowland announces an edition in Thailand in 2026, a first in Asia

Tomorrowland is making its mark in Asia. The world’s most famous electronic music festival has announced that a Thai edition will take place from December 11 to 13, 2026 in the Wisdom Valley of Pattaya, a coastal city located approximately 145 km southeast of the capital Bangkok.

The organizers announced this great first via a video of around fifty seconds published on their YouTube channel.

News which is part of the government’s ambitious approach aimed at positioning the country as a world leader in tourism, with innovative offers. “Welcoming Tomorrowland to Thailand represents an important milestone in our ambition to position the country as a global leader in tourism and creative experiences,” said the Governor’s Tourism Authority of Thailand. “We look forward to welcoming visitors from around the world to experience the beauty, culture and hospitality of Thailand,” she added.

50,000 people per day

This new edition will be able to accommodate more than 50,000 people per day, on a 96 hectare site, and will highlight “six spectacular scenes”. The festival announced the presence of “the legendary Mainstage, Core and Freedom, as well as new stages designed especially for Thailand”.

Although the theme of this Thai edition, the program and the official poster have not yet been revealed, we already know that there will be no camping on the festival site. The Belgian festival, on the other hand, promises to offer a wide range of accommodation options and a shuttle system to reach the festival site.

Ticket sales will be by pre-registration and will begin this Thursday, January 8, while the general ticket office opening is scheduled for March 7.

This is not the first time that Tomorrowland has been organized elsewhere than in Belgium. The festival, which has been held since 2005 in Boom, has already been exported to Brazil and France, since 2019, with its “Winter” edition at Alpe d’Huez.
