Eurovision goes on tour

Eurovision goes on tour in the summer, the singing competition informs.

The tour celebrates the 70th anniversary of Eurovision. The tour brings together “iconic Eurovision performers and artists of 2026”, the European Broadcasting Union Ebu says on its website.

On the tour, the artists perform their own songs as well as covers of their favorite songs from the competition’s history. The performers of the tour have not yet been announced.

The tour starts on June 15th and ends on July 2nd. The tour arrives in the following cities:

• London, June 15

• Hamburg, June 17

• Milan, June 19

• Zurich, June 20

• Antwerp, June 22

• Cologne, June 23

• Copenhagen, June 25

• Amsterdam, June 27

• Paris, June 29

• Stockholm, July 2

Eurovision the final will take place in Vienna on May 16.

The competition has again been subject to a boycott due to Israel’s participation. Five countries have withdrawn from the competition to show their support for Gaza, where Israel is at war. The withdrawn countries are Spain, Ireland, Iceland, the Netherlands and Slovenia.

2025 winner, Austrian JJ eli Johannes Pietsch has expressed his disappointment at Israel’s participation in the competition.

“I would like Eurovision to be held in Vienna without Israel,” he commented to the Spaniard The Country -lehdelle last year.

Also, the 2024 winner Nemo returned his trophy in protest of Israel’s involvement.

On Tuesday, the 2014 Eurovision winner, Austrian Conchita Wurst announcednot to participate in any Eurovision events. Since his win, Wurst has been closely involved in Eurovision both as a performer and host, and was expected to play a major role in the contests in May.
