Jennifer Lawrence called to “destroy all dogs”

Jennifer Lawrence has been considered one of Hollywood’s favorite stars for over a decade, but this week she finds herself in the middle of a wave of severe attacks, after she revealed in an interview that she took her chihuahua, “Princess Pippi Longstocking”, out of her house and moved her to her parents’ house after she bit her son.

Last week, Lawrence arrived at the premiere of her new movie, “Die, My Love,” and told reporters about her decision to give away the dog, which she had raised since 2017, following the incident. “Dogs have become so scary, I see them as a threat. One of them bit my son and it made me want to destroy every dog. I’m just saying, ‘I’m going to eliminate you and your freaking family. you and your friends I will go to China and take care of your friends there. Everyone who looks like you is dead,” said Spek-seriously.

Lawrence’s words provoked a severe attack on her among the fans and dog lovers on the networks, who claimed that a star in her position could not broadcast such messages. “You don’t throw away your dog just because you have kids, you learn to teach your kids to respect your pet. Wow, I really don’t like her now,” one surfer wrote. “Ugh. I loved her but this is really disappointing, I hope people don’t think this is normal behaviour,” added another.

Another surfer wrote: “What is particularly worrying is the use of a huge platform not only to normalize giving up a dog after an event that could have been prevented, but also to speak publicly in such a frivolous way about the destruction of dogs. No, I don’t think she intended that she would ever harm a dog, but this language minimizes their lives, instills fear and has real consequences for animals who are already paying the price for human failure.”
