The creators of the Intermarché advertisement with the vegetarian wolf will make a feature film

Excellent news. After the unexpected and dazzling success of the Intermarché unloved wolf advertisement during the end-of-year holidays, Illogic studios will begin producing an animated film.

The Montpellier animation studio announced to Allo Ciné that it was developing a feature film entitled “La Famille Rivière”. The film will tell the story of a family of beavers in the midst of generational conflict, lost in the American park of Yellowstone. As shown in the first visual shared by the studio, with two beavers in the heart of a forest, the universe of the feature film should be similar to that of the unloved wolf.

Production of “La Famille Rivière” is underway and no release date has yet been communicated, specifies the site specializing in cinema. Produced by Mandarin & Cie, the animated film will be co-directed by Victor Caire and Lucas Navarro, accompanied by Illogic studios and designer Martin Zahradnik.

In December, the advertisement for the unloved wolf from Intermarché met with unexpected success around the world and even exceeded one billion views, according to Allo Ciné. Broadcast during the Christmas holidays on television and on the Internet, the advertisement for the mass retail brand produced by Illogic Studios tells the story of a wolf who becomes vegetarian in order to be accepted by the other animals of the forest.

Building on this resounding success, the studio behind advertisements for Candy Up, Guerlain and even Oasis is preparing to transpose this winning formula onto the big screen and intends to establish itself beyond advertising.
