Actor Timothy Busfield will be digitally removed from his next film after being accused of child sexual abuse

The actor Timothy Busfield will be digitally removed from next Amazon movie ‘You Deserve Each Other’ after being accused of sexually abusing a 7-year-old boy on the set of ‘The Cleaning Lady’, according to ‘Variety’.

This project will be the second that the actor loses due to the accusations. Last Monday, January 12, the NBC network removed an episode of ‘Law & Order’ from its programming.which featured Busfield as a guest star. The episode was scheduled to premiere this Thursday, January 22.

An arrest warrant was issued for Busfield on Jan. 9 on two counts of sexual abuse of a minor. The investigation focuses on the twins who appeared in the television series ‘The Cleaning Girl’ in 2022. Busfield was the director at the time.

The actor faces three charges: two counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor, with a maximum sentence of six years each, and one count of child abuse, with a maximum sentence of three years.
