The SGAE Foundation screens 32 finalist films for the Goya 2026 in the Sala Berlanga, with tickets at 3.5 euros

The SGAE Foundation presented this Thursday the film cycle prior to the 2026 Goya awards in which it will project up to 32 nominated films in the 40th edition, with tickets at 3.5 euros, at the Sala Berlanga in Madrid.

The film series can be enjoyed until February 28, date on which the Goya Awards will be presented at night in Barcelona. Tickets can be obtained at the box office and at ventas.com.

Among the programming, the public can find the big favorites, candidates for several important awards, such as ‘Dinner’by Manuel Gómez Pereira, who opts for eight big heads, ‘On Sundays’by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa (with 13 nominations including best film, best direction or best original screenplay) or ‘Sirat‘, by Oliver Laxe (nominated in 11 categories including, again, the three main ones).

Also ‘Maspalomas‘, by Jose Mari Goenaga and Aitor Arregi, with 9 candidacies, and ‘Deaf‘, by Eva Libertad, which is nominated, among others, for best new director and best adapted script, appear on a billboard, which also includes ‘Strange River’by Jaume Claret, ‘To the fury’by Gemma Blasco, ‘Very far’by Gerard Oms orBalearic‘, by Ion de Sosa.

In addition, films such as ‘The captive’ by Alejandro Amenábar, ‘Pilgrimage‘by Carla Simón, ‘Lonely afternoons’ by Albert Serra, ‘My friend Eva’ by Cesc Gay, ‘A Portuguese villa’ by Avelina Pra and ‘The good lyrics’ by Celia Rico, among others.

Completing the billboard are titles such as ‘The Tigers’, ‘A Ghost in the Battle’, ‘Murder-Like’, Roses Fall’, ‘The Talent’, ‘Leo and Lou’, ‘The Treasure of Barracuda’, ‘Decorado’, ‘Bella’, ‘Norbert’, ‘Olivia and the Invisible Earthquake’, ‘City Without a Sleep’, ‘The Sleeper.
