The Artist Statute will allow the use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in part of the work of artists -such as the actors- although it will establish a time limit -for example, a season in the case of a series-. This was explained this Friday by sources from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy during an informative meeting to advance the modifications of the Royal Decree that regulates the labor relations of artists, technicians and assistants in the field of performing, audiovisual and musical arts.

The text, which is part of the Artist Statute and is expected to be approved before this summer or, at the latest later, regulates the work of minors on social networks, limits generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and includes the figure of the privacy coordinator.
