David Guetta and DJ Snake invited to Coachella to shine the spotlight on the French electro scene

The two most listened to French artists in the world will perform at the Californian festival on April 11 and 18 in front of thousands of fans.

Our French DJs will rock California. In April, David Guetta and DJ Snake will take over the emblematic Coachella festival, near Los Angeles, where the biggest artists on the planet gather every year. The two producers, who are among the most popular names on the electro scene, complete an already very rich lineup with Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Central Cee, Addison Rae, Karol G and Young Thug, announced in September by the festival.

David Guetta will perform in the Quasar space, dedicated to long and immersive sets, on April 11. The Parisian turntable master will play his catalog of hits, including Titanium, Memories, I’m Good et Play Hard. This concert in front of the American public will serve as a rehearsal before his residency in Las Vegas, where he will mix eight times between April 18 and May 30. A fortnight later, the most popular French artist in the world will take over the Stade de France for three evenings, June 11, 12 and 13, where he will present his Ultimate Monolith Show to some 240,000 fans. “See you in the desert”

For his part, DJ Snake is expected at Coachella on April 18, the penultimate day of the festival. With this concert, the Parisian composer intends to once again make a lasting impression. Over the past twelve months, he has continued to make the headlines in musical news with his world tour, during which he filled a Stade de France, took over the Eiffel Tower, the Las Vegas Sphere and triumphed in a hangar at Le Bourget airport. He also released an album, Nomadwhich met with great success across the Atlantic.

His fan community, which calls itself the “Snake Army”, hopes to find him in good shape. This week, William Grigahcine in the city announced that he will not be able to perform his various shows in India in February, due to a “health problem which ended up getting the better of [lui] ». According to his message posted on social networks, his operation will keep him away from the stage for more than a month. He promised to come back “soon, stronger than before”. Prestigious dates are noted in his calendar this year. DJ Snake will perform at the Château de Chambord on June 28, before embarking on a festival tour this summer.
