Andy Ogles went directly to the House of Representatives parliamentary committee to request an investigation into “review and approval” by the NFL and NBC Universal of the content of Bad Bunny’s performance, which he judges, in a personal capacity, “explicit and indecent”.

The representative of the lower house did not just refer the matter to the commission of inquiry. He said on his X account: “This concert is pure garbage. Children were forced to watch explicit gay sex acts, women swaying in provocative ways, and Bad Bunny shamelessly touching each other’s crotches ».

Daring choreography and unifying lyrics

According to the Republican elected official, the Bad Bunny show “mainly in Spanish” should have forced broadcasters to “translate and evaluate” its content before broadcast, in order to respect “the same standards as for English language content”.

To end his show, the anti-Trump singer wanted to unite: he cited all the countries of the American continent, modifying the chorus of the patriotic song God Bless America. In the background, spectators could read “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
