The tour was meant to be part of the 70th anniversary of Eurovision, and included ten arena concerts in June across Europe. Finland was not in the program of the tour.

According to the release, the reason for the cancellation is “unexpected challenges”, which the organizers have not been able to solve.

Eurovision World – according to the news site, ticket sales for the tour have been weak in several cities and the performers have not been considered attractive enough for the price of the ticket. The cheapest tickets for the concerts were priced at around 70 euros. Tickets were only sold for a week before the tour was cancelled.

The popularity of the five-a-side final held in Vienna in May has remained unchanged. The tickets for the final, semi-finals and dress rehearsals were sold out in an hour.

According to Martin Green, the concert tour can be organized even later, as long as it can be ensured that the fans will get the “world-class experience” they expect.
