One Battle After Another graced the Bafta Awards in London

British the film industry’s Bafta awards were handed out on Sunday in London.

The biggest winner of the evening was by Paul Thomas Anderson guided by One Battle After Anotherwhich won a total of six awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Horror film Sinners won three awards.

Both films are also at the top of the 2026 Oscar nominations.

The films both picked up Best Supporting Actor awards: Wunmi Mosaku for his role in Sinners and Sean Penn From Anderson’s action drama.

Sinners also took home the awards for Best Original Score and Best Screenplay. The movie is written by Ryan Coogler.

Leonardo DiCaprion starred One Battle After Another additionally won awards for Best Adapted Screenplay, Editing and Cinematography.

For the best won the British short film category This Is Endometriosis.

Zootropolis 2 was awarded as the best animated film.

Mary Shelleyn based on a classic novel Frankenstein won the awards for best costume, make-up and set design.

The award for best non-English language film went to a Norwegian Joachim Trierin directed drama Sentimental Value.

Hamnet-star Jessie Buckley won the award for best actress. Hamnet also won the prize in the most significant British film category.

He received the award for the best actor Robert Aramayo from the movie I Swear. The film, based on a true story, is set in 1980s Scotland.

Timothée Chalametin starred Marty Supreme did not win a single award, despite being nominated in 11 categories.
