Massive Attack will have a concert in Helsinki in May

The trip hop band, founded in Bristol in 1988, last performed in Finland in 2016.

English the electronic music band Massive Attack will perform in Helsinki at the Veikkaus Arena on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. The concert is part of a European tour, for which, in addition to the Helsinki concert, concerts in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Belgium were also announced.

Massive Attack’s last concert in Finland was in 2016 at the Flow festival in Helsinki. Formed in Bristol in 1988, Massive Attack is a pioneer of the gloomy trip hop genre and its first album Blue Linesia (1991) is considered the first trip hop record.

Massive Attack achieved the greatest popularity with their third album released in 1998 Mezzaninewhich also includes Teardrop– a hit.

As four men there are currently only two actual members left in the band that started, Robert “3D” Del Naja mixed Grant ”Daddy G” Marshall. The band has released a total of five studio albums. It has also announced that it will release new music during 2026. Tickets for the Helsinki concert will go on public sale on Friday, February 27, after advance sales.
