This event did not raise the eyebrows of the master of ceremonies, Benjamin Lavernhe, who went through the awards as if nothing had happened. On social networks, however, many Internet users were outraged, some mentioning “lamentable whistles”, others deploring a ceremony “wasted”.
After the death of Brigitte Bardot, part of the political class, on the left in particular, rejected the idea of a national tribute for the global star, who had lent her features to the Republican Marianne in the 1960s before becoming, after the sudden end of her career, an animal enthusiast.
