The female voice in the literary scene in pursuit of equality and diversity is the center of a series of activities to commemorate International Women’s Day. Conferences, workshops, readings, book presentations and other academic activities make visible the contribution and presence of women in literature throughout this month.
Last Thursday the dialogue table took place Crossed itineraries of Alfonso Reyes and women in Latin American letters with the writers Silvia Molina, Angelina Muñiz-Huberman, Martha Robles and Mercedes Sierra, at the fourth International Colloquium Alfonso Reyes and the Women of their Time 2026.
Two more tables of that meeting will be held on March 12, headed by Luisa Ballesteros, María Dolores Bolívar and Mariana Martínez Fortuno (Mexico), as well as by Sonia Chouaibi, Mariel Monente and Patricia Rosas Lopátegui. They will be broadcast on the Facebook pages of the Alfonsina Chapel and the National Literature Coordination (CNL).
