Readers tell about Pitbull’s gigs in Helsinki in the early 2010s

American rapper Pitbullin popularity has experienced a renaissance in recent years. Previously was told this weekthat his tour will also reach Finland after a long time.

Pitbull aka Diego Armando Perez was a big shout in the early 2010s. At that time, he also performed three times in Helsinki: at The Circus club and Rautatintor in 2010 and in Suvilahti in the summer of 2012.

Many respondents say that they were at concerts as a teenager or had just become an adult. Everyone describes Meno as fun and good.

Suvilahti remembers the gig Maria Pullinenwho was 14 years old in 2012.

Pullinen arrived at the gig from Valkeakoski together with his friend. This gig had to be attended, and the parents had to be convinced of the idea.

In the end, the friend’s father had agreed to be a driver. He waited for the gig and drove his friends back home late into the night.

The friends bought tour shirts and key chains from the gig. The shirt read Pitbull and Suvilahti on June 5. The whereabouts of the key chain is no longer known, but the garment has been preserved.

“Yes, it is still used as a nightgown,” says Pullinen.

He is probably not going to go to this year’s gig.
