The exhibition ‘Observing one’s soul’, by Young Signorino and Futura, inaugurated in Rome

It will be open to visitors from today until March 16th, at the Gard Galleria Arte Roma Design, the bi-personal exhibition by Young Signorino and Futura ‘Osservando La Propria Anima’. Also on display is ‘Sagome’, a collective show that hosts 12 artists with different techniques and styles used. In ‘Observing Your Soul’, Chiara Tisi, aka ‘Futura’, and Paolo Caputo, aka ‘Young Signorino’, share an artistic and life path born from the attraction to the inner darkness, the torment of the human being and the depth of pain. Their arts speak the same language: they explore intense emotions, fragility and introspection, transforming pain into a shared experience. In Futura’s works the canvases evoke the concept of darkness, suffering and rebirth, while Young Signorino interprets torment and emotion through his own visual language. Together they want to make people feel understood, remembering that no one is alone in pain and that we are all hurting in some way. Their works are seen as a rebirth: an invitation to sit in the darkness, to walk through it with awareness, and to see the light that inevitably emerges. Their art thus becomes a space of reflection, empathy and transformation for those who observe.

The collective ‘Sagome’ has a multipurpose meaning that includes various uses. Extrapolated from the Treccani vocabulary, the term Sagoma indicates different meanings: In ancient times this name was given to the caliber used by bombers and artillerymen, today it indicates: model of paper, cardboard, wood, metal or other materials which serves as a facsimile or as a reference in architectural constructions, furniture, bodywork, clothing. Profile of a person, animal, face or object. Flat figure, schematically representing a standing man, used as a target. But also, an extravagant, fun and imaginative person. This ability to contain diversified images makes this word usable for many artistic narratives, and it is precisely with the possibility of ranging in various directions that Gard invited the artists to come together to develop an exhibition that contains variations on the theme. The works selected and exhibited are those of Maria Letizia Avato, Francesca Bianchi, Laura Casali, Federico Farnesi, Enrico Frusciante, Futura, Sonia Mazzoli, Giuseppe Mincuzzi, Alessandra Morricone, Gruppo Pavlovsky, Valeria Piro, Irene Salvatori, Young Signorino, Remo Suprani, Damiano Zignani: artists with different genres, styles and performance techniques. Different languages will be on display: painting, photography, sculpture, pictorial graphics, digital art for a mix of colors and styles.
