Zendaya responds in front of the cameras to a question about the wedding

The longest teasing in history: all of Hollywood is on their feet trying to figure out for who-knows-how many times: did the power couple of the entertainment world, Zendaya and Tom Holland, marry secretly away from the eyes of the cameras? The latest event that provided the thickest hint that the two have indeed settled down took place last night at Essence magazine’s Black Women in Hollywood event in Los Angeles.

During the ceremony, host Marseille Martin turned to Zendaya, who was sitting in the audience, and told her that she knows she doesn’t play anything when it comes to her personal life, and asked her to give a small nod or sign if she should send her a wedding gift. In response, Zendaya shyly raised both hands to her face and showed off the gold ring on her finger, signaling to the moderator that she would answer her with four eyes. Although it was not an official statement, many saw it as her way of confirming the rumors, and a source present at the event even said that Zendaya was heard receiving well wishes and congratulations from those present.

Despite all the hints from Zendaya’s direction, new paparazzi photos of Tom Holland the day before presented a situation – Holland was seen in Miami together with his brother and friends, walking around unhindered and without any trace of a wedding ring on his hand. The differences in the messages leave the fans in tension, while the official representatives of the two have not yet provided an official confirmation or denial of the conversation on the subject.

Let’s remember that the crazy wave of rumors surrounding the secret wedding kicked up a gear on March 1 at the Actor Awards, when Lou Roach, Zendaya’s close stylist, threw fuel to the fire and claimed in an interview on the red carpet: “The wedding has already happened, you missed it.” When the reporter tried to ascertain if he was serious about the statement, Roach jokingly confirmed and added: “It’s very true!”.

Just days after the stylist’s surprise announcement, Zendaya’s engagement ring was noticeably missing from her size, and she was spotted wearing a thin gold ring in its place. The first time the new ring was revealed was during the promotion of the movie “The Drama” alongside actor Robert Pattinson. Then, on March 10, Zendaya arrived at the Louis Vuitton fashion show where she again displayed the gold ring on her left hand as she crossed her arms in front of the cameras.

As you may remember, the two met on the set of the movie “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2017, but began to officially date only in 2021, and since then have made sure to keep their relationship relatively far from the spotlight.
