At Pitbull’s concerts, the community is of great importance: “That would be shaving your head bald again”

Ticket sales plasterer Pitbullin Helsinki gigs opened on Friday morning, which was visible to buyers as five-digit queue numbers.

One happy ticket holder is from Joensuu Henri Jaatinen. HS interviewed him last year in Stockholm In connection with Pitbull’s gig and now caught up with him again.

“There, I already sent a message to my friend that it would be another time to shave my head bald,” says Jaatinen on the phone.

Fans tend to dress up as Pitbull at gigs, and many resort to fake bald heads.

Jaatinen was able to get a ticket already on Wednesday, when advance ticket sales opened. At that time, he was on a waiting list of somewhere around 6,000.

Jaatinen was his spouse at the Stockholm gig Then with, and this year the couple will also bring their daughter who turns 18.

At Pitbull’s concerts, Jaatis likes the energy and the catchiness of the songs. It’s also a plus that the rapper makes a lot of music together with other artists.

“The gigs have a good feeling – and the community waiting for the gig to start is of great importance,” he describes.

“It’s really great that he’s coming to Finland. You can’t pass up that opportunity.”

Pitbull will perform at Helsinki’s Veikkaus-arena on December 7 and 8.

When the tickets went on sale, there were at least 20,000-30,000 potential buyers on the Ticketmaster website. Tickets were also sold in advance sales, which started on March 11.

Live Nation Finland does not comment further on the sales situation or, for example, how many advance tickets were sold. The event organizer’s communication says that the interest in the gigs has been very high right from the announcement.

The audience capacity of the Veikkaus arena is 15,500 spectators.
