Klamydia’s Vesku Jokinen apologized for the drunken gig

Vaasa band Klamydia started its spring concert tour on Friday in Tulisuudelma in Vantaa in a way that the singer Vesku Jokinen had to apologize the next morning.

Someone posted on his Instagram account a regretful text on Saturday morning, in which he said that the gig went wrong because of his excessive drunkenness.

“We didn’t drink punk in a civilized way, but we pulled the piss out of it,” Jokinen writes and thanks the audience for their patience.

“I had the world’s worst start to the round yesterday. I was in a fucking mess and I was fucking shit. Absolutely fucking bad. Sorry to everyone present.”

Chlamydia the tour continues on Saturday to Köyliö’s Lallintalo in Satakunta.

“Work continues as normal today at Lallis,” Jokinen commented to HS via text message.

The singer promises that the band will put on a good show in the evening.

“Shocks are mistakes. You can’t get rid of them. I’ve publicly apologized and admitted my fucking mistake.”

Chlamydia is known, among other things, for songs A little boy’s life, A twinkle in the corner of the eye, A request, Dear fool and in Ostrobothnia.

The band was founded in 1988.

“Yesterday, I messed up. And before that, it was probably around 2012. Between then, there are about 2,000 good gigs. Why aren’t they being written?” Someone says.
