A former member of the band Turnstile is accused of trying to kill a bandmate’s father

American Former guitarist of the band Turnstile Brady Ebert has been charged with attempted murder. Ebert is suspected of intentionally hitting the singer of Turnstile with his car Brendan Yatesin to a father who suffered injuries to his legs.

American newspaper Rolling Stone according to Ebert, last Sunday, he had driven his car in front of Yates’ father’s home, honking his horn and shouting threats, and finally drove towards him.

Police arrested Ebert on Tuesday and on Wednesday he was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Ebert left Turnstile in the summer of 2022. Now the band has said that the reason for the breakup was Ebert’s behavior, which had begun to disrupt the band’s activities. The use was accompanied by threats of violence.

“We decided to protect his privacy and the circumstances surrounding his departure, even though he did nothing to deserve that protection,” the band says in a public comment.

After being fired, Ebert continued his threatening behavior towards the band. The band had applied for a restraining order against Ebert, but the court rejected it.

Turnstile, who plays rock based on hardcore punk, received two Grammy awards in February, one for the song Birds and from another’s album Never Enough. Turnstile is also one of the main performers at the upcoming summer’s Flow festival.
