25-year-old Tabita Thinggaard, known from the reality program ‘Ex on the Beach’, has become single

Love did not last for the former reality celebrity Tabita Thinggaard, who earlier this year fell in love with a guy she met on a road trip in Tenerife.

In a so-called question round on Instagram, the 25-year-old former participant in ‘Ex on the Beach’ writes that she has had a boyfriend, but that they are no longer together.

‘I broke up with him because I was bored. My focus is on my girlfriends/friends, they are the ones who mean everything to me in my life, and that’s plenty’, she writes.

Tabita Thinggaard tells Ekstra Bladet that she managed to be with the guy, who is from London, for a few months before it became too much for her.

– I think it just dawned on me how quickly I got annoyed with him. In the end, I actually kind of didn’t care about him, she says.

– What did you like about him in the first place?

– He was very sweet and loving, but it was also too much. You usually say that what you fall for is also what you end up being most irritated by in the end, says Tabita Thinggaard.

Dropped reality
Tabita Thinggaard was able to say in a major interview with Femina last year that she has chosen to drop reality TV and that today she wishes she had thought more about the consequences that could follow from being part of a reality show -program.

– It was to try something wild that went against all my principles. I regret that I had not stopped a little more and thought about my future, but I was so busy living in the present, she said in the interview.

She has also previously told Ekstra Bladet that she believes the production should have stepped in and removed her from ‘Ex on the Beach’ because of her mental health.

After retiring from the reality world, Tabita Thinggaard went on a train with the school ship Georg Stage, and later she got a job on a ship where she could use her training as a mechanic.

The extra time she gets, now that she doesn’t have to travel to Tenerife and visit her boyfriend, will also be used in maritime activities.

– I just think I’ll be with my girlfriends a lot, and then I’ll start with the Norwegian Navy in October, so I’m really looking forward to that, says Tabita Thinggaard.

Ekstra Bladet has previously spoken to Tabita Thinggaard about her past with Jehovah’s Witnesses and her journey from there to being a Page 9 girl and reality star. Read the interview here.
