“The Voice”: Adnaé gives up at the gates of the final

Dramatic twist in “The Voice”! This Sunday morning, Adnaé announced that she was leaving the adventure at the gates of the final scheduled for Saturday May 25 on TF 1. A few hours earlier, the figure of the team of Bigflo and Oli had just qualified for the last number of this season 13 of the telecrochet presented by Nikos Aliagas.

On her Instagram account, this naval engineer working on oil platforms off the coast of Mozambique explained the reasons for this unexpected abandonment. “I experienced an exceptional semi-final, savoring every moment but here it is, if I am writing you this message, it is to announce to you that the adventure The Voice stops now for me,” the singer wrote. Before revealing, with supporting photographs, that she is expecting a happy event.

“I am withdrawing from the adventure to experience a completely different one which promises to be magnificent: the arrival of my little one. We proudly did the adventure together and I am grateful. The semi-final was recorded in advance, since then my little one has grown well. The arrival of the baby and the schedule for the final being tight, travel between Mozambique and France is not possible for me,” added the young woman.

Iris will replace her during the live finale

Saturday evening, in a number recorded on February 2, Adnaé won over the public by covering Gérard Lenorman’s hit, “Et moi je chante”. She won against Iris, becoming the official representative of Bigflo and Oli’s team for the final. She should have faced the last talent in the race from each coach next Saturday: Gabriel Lobao for Mika, Baptiste Sartoria on the Vianney side, Alphonse from the Zazie team and Shanys for Camille Lellouche. Her withdrawal will benefit Iris, who will replace her during the live final. The prize for the winner chosen by the public alone is a contract with Universal Music.

On the audience side, “The Voice” gained momentum again on Saturday. 2.8 million viewers, or 17.8% of the entire public, attended this high-stakes evening. Scores up compared to the previous week, when the musical program suffered in the face of Eurovision on France 2, bringing together only 2.1 million faithful (12.7%).
