“A window on…” this is the name chosen for the collection of limited edition goldsmith sculptures, born from the artistic creativity of Anna Rita Cammerata, Rai author, writer and playwright, which will be presented tomorrow Thursday 23 May, at 6pm, in Rome in Via Santa Maria dell’Anima. The expert hands of the goldsmith Antonio Palladino have realized the dream of describing the exact vision of Anna Rita’s gaze in every glimpse seen or imagined, as well as fixed in the exact moment in which the eyes, the heart, the soul and the amazement they tattooed.

The ambitious project begins with Rome as the protagonist, the ‘Eternal City’ in all its parts, represented in works created strictly by hand, in a limited edition of 99 pieces for each view. “A Window on…” in fact portrays the most prestigious monuments initially represented in goldsmith sculptures, pendants, over time, rings, bracelets, brooches, earrings, buckles… admirable behind the shutters that open in each piece. Each one in gold-plated bronze and carefully executed to pay homage to the beauty and enchantment of the Capital.

The collection, presented by the actress Francesca Brandi, will be worn by ten ‘ordinary’ people to demonstrate the meaning of the original idea ‘beauty is for everyone and in everyone… in the hearts of those who tell it and in the eyes of those who live it’ ; ten women, famous and otherwise, will talk about Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, Colosseum, San Pietro, Bocca della Verità, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Fori Imperiali, Castel Sant’Angelo, Piazza del Popolo. Part of the proceeds from the sale will go from time to time to associations that work for the good of others; ‘A window on…Rome’ will help the Lodhon Poor People Heling Group, an association that works for the poor children and elderly people of Tibet.

Godmother of the evening, in the location of the splendid terrace on Piazza Navona, the actress Giorgia Trasselli. During the presentation, a special recognition will be given to Gigi Sabani in memory of his career and for his Roman character in the hands of his son Simone, an actor who will be wished the best of luck for the film coming out in November ‘Time is still ours’, directed by another son of art Maurizio Matteo Merli, with Ascanio Pacelli and the extraordinary participation of Andrea Roncato.
