Guillaume Meurice affair: the comedian fired from France Inter… And now, what future for the show?

The “end of a false suspense”. This Tuesday, June 11, Guillaume Meurice announced to AFP that he was dismissed “for serious misconduct”. In question, the repetition in April on France Inter of his controversial comments last October on Benyamin Netanyahu, compared to “a kind of Nazi but without a foreskin”.

“Repeated disloyalty towards the company,” said the management of Radio France, which oust him a little more than a month after suspending him from the air. This forced departure also comes two weeks before the end of the season of “Grand Dimanche Soir”, the weekly satirical show by Charline Vanhoenacker, of which he was a pillar.
