The Puerto Rican singer Don Omar,considered as the ‘King of reggaeton’,announced this Monday, June 17, through his Instagran profile that suffers from cancer.
“Today yes, but tomorrow I won’t have cancer. Good intentions are well received. See you soon“said the singer who accompanies this announcement with an image in which you can see a medical tape from one of the hospitals of the Orlando Health company.
The announcement has caused surprise among some colleagues, such as DJ Juan Magán who commented “How?”, accompanied by an emoji that simulates a hug. The singer Sean Paul has also sent him encouragement in the face of the disease. “Keep your head up, brother. “Health is a blessing,” has stated.
The singer is immersed in the second stage of his ‘Back to reggaeton’ tour, which has 18 dates in cities such as Washington, Austin, Los Angeles and New York. Don Omar is the author of songs such as ‘Danza Kuduro’, ‘She does not follow fashions’, along with Juan Magán, ‘She and I’, collaboration with Romeo Santos, among others.
