Scholastique Mukasonga, Michelle Perrot and Bertrand Périer among the guests

Around a hundred authors and illustrators will be present from July 6 to 8, at Parc de la Planchette, under the presidency of Nathalie Saint-Cricq.

The 13th edition of the Levallois Historical Novel Fair will be held on July 6 and 7. The main setting is the Parc de la Planchette, nestled in the heart of the city. A good book fair is first and foremost a rich and diverse program, which can attract all audiences and present all genres, novels, stories, essays, testimonies and biographies. This is the case here, with around a hundred authors and illustrators present and a number of meetings.

For this year, the presidency has been entrusted to Nathalie Saint-Cricq. Well seen! The last day of the show coincides with the second round of legislative elections. On Sunday July 7, the political journalist and author of two novels (I’ll help you live, you’ll help me die on Clemenceau’s last love and The Shadow of a Traitor on the mysteries of Gaullism) will debate with the writer Romain Slocombe. Theme: remember, commemorate.

Guests include Scholastique Mukasonga, historian Michelle Perrot and Bertrand Périer, a lawyer and specialist in public speaking who created “La Grande Dictée”. Admission is free.
