Books, meetings and music in the village with a view on the themes of our time

The medieval charm of the village of Montefiascone (Viterbo), with a breathtaking view of Lake Bolsena, will be the backdrop from 5 to 7 July for the second edition of the cultural festival ‘Panorami’. Directed by Annalisa Canfora and organized by the Cultural Association Compagnia del Teatro – Caffeina Eventi in collaboration with the Municipality of Montefiascone, ‘Panorami’ promises a weekend of meetings and reflections on major contemporary themes, but also music, entertainment and books. Guests include Domenico Iannacone, Chiara Civello, Cecilia Sala, Filippo Ceccarelli, Vittorio Emanuele Parsi, Adriano Sofri, Riccardo Rossi, Cristina Rava, Veronica Raimo and many others.

Music will have a central role (note the show ‘A day in the life’, which will see Leonardo Colombati, Pierluigi De Palma and Fabrizio Lucherini tell ‘the big bang of rock’n’roll’), but there will be space to investigate the themes of loneliness and human relationships, listen to journalistic testimonies from crisis areas, stories of immigration, political and social insights, and discuss crime and justice.

Annalisa Canfora is an actress, artistic director, trainer and author of essays and theatrical texts including ‘Aldo Moro, 21 paintings of a story’ (winner of the ‘Donna Mostra donna’ dramaturgy award). Finalist at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as best actress in the Visual category and organizer and consultant of many cultural festivals, since 2017 she has been the Artistic Director of the Teatro Caffeina in Viterbo. She is also a teacher at the Stap academy of the Brancaccio theater and of the degree course for actors of the International Theater Academy.
