Dancing in the summer rain – that is actually the romantic indie pop moment and Coldplay get it as a gift from heaven at the first of three sold-out concerts in the Düsseldorf stadium. The rain is pouring down just in time for the concert to begin, and impressive lightning flashes from dark clouds. If the band were to play their hit “Yellow” from their first album “Parachutes” at the same time, the “indie pop moment” described would be perfect. But they are playing “Higher Power” from their current album “Music of the Spheres”, which was released 21 years later. And for all the eternal complainers: even with this song, the moment is almost perfect.
