‘I was really lucky’: These French Oasis fans got tickets to the band’s 2025 concerts

“The euphoria, the explosion of joy and the tears”: Florence still struggles to believe that she managed to get her ticket to see the legendary group again. Exactly 30 years ago, she discovered Oasis thanks to a small record store in Lille, an “immediate love at first sight” for the Gallagher brothers’ Britpop. She had attended nearly ten concerts before the earthquake of the separation in 2009, while she was waiting for her idols at the Rock en Seine festival. So, for this resident of Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) now aged 50, seeing them on stage again next year sounds like a “great revenge”.

Drawn to access the pre-sale ticketing, she was able to obtain two tickets for herself and a friend at Wembley Stadium in London on July 30, 2025. Thanks to her partner, the duo will also attend Cardiff, on July 4, the very first date of the group’s series of 17 concerts in the United Kingdom and Ireland. They are among the lucky few to have snatched the sesame, avoiding breakdowns and exhausting hours of queuing on the booking sites, stormed by millions of fans this Saturday.
