Liam Gallagher mocks Oasis concert ticket prices: “Shut your mouth”

Liam Gallagher singer of Oasis, has joked on the social network X about the high prices reached by the tickets to see the concerts of the Brit pop group after announcing their return after 15 years of separation.

In a series of messages and responses posted on his social network account X, the youngest of the brothers Gallagher51, exchanges comments with fans of the band who regret the excessive cost of tickets to attend the shows announced in the United Kingdom and Ireland for July and August 2025.

To one of these fans, who reproaches him for the fact that the tickets are so expensive, Gallagher says in capital letters: “Shut your mouth.”

And when another asks what his mother, Peggy, thinks about the brothers’ long-awaited reunion, Liam replies mockingly: “She is devastated because she has not managed to get a ticket. (to concerts)”.

The first of that chain of messages and responses makes clear his defiant attitude: “Oasis are back, you’re welcome, I heard his attitude sucks, it’s good to know something that never changes“.

The cost of the tickets, which sold out the same day they went on sale, last Saturday, August 31, have reached astronomical sums on portals such as Ticketmaster where the original price of 148 pounds (175 euros) has doubled to 355 pounds (421 euros).

Yesterday, Thursday, the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) reported that will investigate the Ticketmaster company regarding ticket sales after receiving numerous complaints that concert ticket prices had been inflated.

According to the competition regulator CMA, the investigation will include establishing how the so-called dynamic pricing (whereby prices are adjusted based on demand) and whether the sale of tickets may have violated consumer protection law.

The gira Oasis Live 2025 will kick off on July 4, 2025 in Cardiff, Wales, followed by several presentations in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.
