Selena Gomez reveals she can’t get pregnant
Selena Gomez reveals today (Monday) in a new interview for “Vanity Fair” magazine that she “cannot carry her children” in her womb, due to “medical problems”, according to the 32-year-old singer. “Unfortunately, I have a lot of medical problems that would put my life and the baby in danger,” Gomez said, adding that “it was something I had to mourn for a while.”The singer, who was diagnosed with lupus in 2013 and underwent a kidney transplant in 2017, stated in the vulnerable interview that she had “never said this before” in public.

“It’s not necessarily the way I imagined it,” Gomez added, admitting that “I thought it would happen like it happens to everyone.” At the same time, the singer also noted that “I’m in a much better place with it. I find it blessed that there are wonderful people who are willing to do surrogacy or adoption, both of which are huge options for me.”

The singer, who has known quite a few upheavals in her personal and romantic life, is in a relationship with the 36-year-old Jewish producer Benny Blanco, who is often interviewed on various podcasts and details at length about his love for her, when until recently there were quite a few rumors about engagements.

Blanco recently told The Howard Stern Show that he wants to have children with Gomez: “That’s my next goal, I like to be around children,” he said then, but did not respond unequivocally to the issue of marriage.

Gomez, who called her partner in an interview with the magazine “The Light of Her Life”, “my best friend”, and said that “I have never been loved in this way, I like to tell him everything”, added about her situation that “at the end of the day, I don’t care. It will be mine, it will be my baby.”
