Hanoi Children’s Hospital is the first specialized pediatric medical facility in the Capital, with an investment cost of nearly 800 billion VND, expected to operate from October 9.
This is also the last-line medical unit of Hanoi, ranked 1st under the Department of Health. The hospital has the function of medical examination and treatment for children in Hanoi and other provinces, and directs pediatric expertise to lower-level medical facilities. The project is located on Nguyen Trac Street, Yen Nghia Ward, Ha Dong District, in the west of Hanoi.
The hospital was built on a land area of 67,863 m2, including a 6-storey building block with 2 units (1A and 1B) and a basement, total floor area of 34,364 m2. Of which, unit 1A has an area of 17,316 m2, including medical examination department; emergency, technical and paraclinical areas; administrative. Unit 1B has an area of 11,797 m2, has inpatient treatment functions and integrated services.
The facility has 24 departments and 200 inpatient beds. The operating room area has 11 rooms, equipped with modern equipment, and will deploy anesthesia techniques, multimodal pain relief, digestive surgery, kidney and urinary surgery, orthopedic surgery, ENT surgery, and molar surgery. face…
It is expected that every day, Hanoi Children’s Hospital will provide outpatient treatment for nearly 1,000 patients and inpatient treatment for 200 children. Patients coming for examination will automatically register via facial recognition and be guided into the examination area. This place will also develop medical appointment booking services via website, fanpage and application, to increase convenience.
“The hospital hopes to bring high quality medical services, as well as reduce the load on the National Children’s Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital and neighboring provinces,” said hospital leaders.
The hospital’s human resources are experienced doctors, coming from major hospitals in Hanoi such as: National Children’s Hospital, Saint Paul General Hospital, Hanoi Medical University. Doctor Ngo Quang Hung, Deputy Director of Saint Paul General Hospital, was appointed director of this place.
