Zaka tapes from October 7 are exposed

One year after the great disaster, this morning (Tuesday) excerpts of chilling conversations from the operational context of the ZAKA volunteers on October 7 are being revealed for the first time. The conversations were recorded while they were going into the great inferno in the kibbutzim, cities, settlements and the Gaza Strip; in them you can hear reports of bodies in the trenches And on the side of the road and next to burnt vehicles. As mentioned, the organization’s volunteers worked at the massacre sites for about five months since that Black Sabbath. In an interview with Mako Health, conducted a few days after the massacre, Shimi Grossman, a ZAKA volunteer, told about the horrors he was exposed to: “They didn’t fire a single shot and continued. They simply abused each and every one, burned children, babies – any verbal description would do injustice to what was actually done,” he says. “Even the Nazis took some of the children to work. They are not. They simply massacred them with any available means – grenades, RPGs, knives or by setting fire to them. Charred bodies, that’s what you see there. I can’t believe this is happening in 2023 here in the State of Israel. The settlements will have to be destroyed and rebuilt. There is no family that does not have a dead or kidnapped person. We still do not understand the magnitude of the horror. We don’t usually publish pictures of dead bodies, but I say spread the word, see what a holocaust looks like.”
