Gargling with salt water, mixing honey with warm water, ginger tea, turmeric milk and steaming with essential oils can help relieve pain and sore throat caused by pollutants.
Increased pollution levels cause respiratory problems and sore throats. Airborne pollutants, including dust, smoke and toxic chemicals, can irritate the sensitive lining of the throat, causing dryness, itching and inflammation. In addition to medication, some natural drinks can reduce symptoms with few unwanted side effects.
Gargle with salt water
One of the most commonly used remedies for sore throat is gargling with salt water. Salt has a mild antiseptic, antiseptic effect, and reduces swelling in tissues. It also clears mucus or bacteria in the throat, which are the cause of irritation.

Turmeric milk
