5 yoga poses to help reduce belly fat

Menopause leads to many changes in a woman’s body, typically an increase in belly fat. In addition to maintaining a proper diet, exercises such as yoga can be helpful in burning fat cells. Besides working the core muscles, yoga also reduces stress and relaxes.

Plank position is one of the best positions to reduce belly fat, strengthen the core, arms and back, while improving posture.

Perform: Start in a push-up position with your hands placed directly below your shoulders. Raise your toes, keep your back straight, hips tight, eyes looking toward your wrists. Avoid letting your hips sag, breathe evenly and hold for 20-30 seconds.
