Walla: The next home birth ended in the death of the baby

Despite thorough planning, home births that took place in the south of the country ended in the death of the baby. According to Tuesday, January 28, Walla, the birth took place at night, and after half an hour the midwife determined alarming symptoms and caused rescue service.

The woman in labor was taken to the “Magpie” hospital in Beer-Shev, where it was determined that the fetus did not have a pulse. The woman had an emergency operation, and her physical condition is stable. It is noted that this is not her first birth at home, but this time the baby died as a result of home birth.

The Ministry of Health does not prohibit the birth of a house, however, in the relevant circulars on this topic it is indicated that the birth of a child in a hospital is safer for both the mother and the child.
