The three hospitals invested in trillions of dong in Hoc Mon, Thu Duc and Cu Chi expected to operate in 2025, with spacious and modern infrastructure.
In particular, Hoc Mon Regional General Hospital and Thu Duc Regional General Hospital are scheduled to inaugurate in April, marking 50 years of the liberation of the South of the country, according to the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City.
Hoc Mon Regional General Hospital has an investment of VND 1,895 billion, has operated many departments and rooms since last year. When inaugurated, this place will have 700 beds with about 800 medical staff. This is a district hospital, located at the northwestern gateway of the city, for many years degraded. The hospital often flooded after each heavy rain, doctors even caught crabs in the emergency room.

At the northeastern gateway, Thu Duc Regional General Hospital has an investment of 1,915 billion VND, the scale of 1,000 beds with about 1,100 employees. The hospital serves people in the area and neighboring provinces such as Binh Duong and Dong Nai.
Cu Chi Regional General Hospital is expected to be accepted into operation in August and inaugurated in September to celebrate 80 years of National Day. The hospital has 1,000 beds with 1,250 health workers, total investment of more than 1,854 billion dong, located at the gateway of the Northwest region of the city.
According to the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, health facilities at the city gateway are invested in construction to improve medical examination and treatment capacity, reduce pressure for existing hospitals in the city center.
