4 natural drinks help detoxify alcohol

Filtered water, fresh ginger, tomatoes and coconuts are natural drinks that help detoxify alcohol, reduce unpleasant symptoms, support the body to recover.

According to Dr. Chu Thi Dung, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Facility 3, after consuming alcoholic beverages, the body often has symptoms such as headache, nausea and fatigue.

To minimize these symptoms and support the body to recover quickly, you can use some natural drinks, as follows:

Water

Drinking filtered water is the simplest and most effective way to solve alcohol and beer. Alcohol in alcohol, beer reduces the amount of water in the body, drinking filtered water helps dilute the blood alcohol content in the blood, promote the process of elimination of toxins through urine and rehydration.

Drink 1-2 glasses of water after drinking alcohol and beer. Continue to take small sips throughout the day to maintain the water balance in the body.

Each day should drink at least 2-3 liters of water to maintain water balance and support the process of detoxifying the body. Drink warm water instead of cold water to avoid stimulating the stomach and makes the digestive process easier. Do not drink too much water to avoid water poisoning.

Fresh ginger juice

Ginger has the effect of stimulating blood circulation, reducing headaches and nausea, and supports to remove alcohol quickly. Ginger contains gingerol, an anti -inflammatory and digestive assistant compound, helping to reduce bloating and nausea after drinking alcohol.

Ingredients include 3-4 slices of fresh ginger, 1 teaspoon of honey, 250 ml of warm water. Boil ginger in water for about 5 minutes, then pour into a cup and add honey, stir.

Drink while still warm to promote the best effect. Drink 1-2 cups of fresh ginger water about 1 hour apart to reduce unpleasant symptoms.

Tomato juice

Tomatoes contain vitamin C and glutathione, help protect the liver and support detoxification, reduce the harmful effects of alcohol on the body. Vitamin C in tomatoes also enhances the immune system and reduces nausea after drinking alcohol.

Using 2 ripe tomatoes, can add 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Tomatoes washed, squeezed water or pureed and filtered through the sieve. Add salt and stir well. Drink immediately after preparation to keep the maximum nutrients.

Drink 1 cup (250 ml) immediately after drinking alcohol. You can drink another 1 cup after about 2 hours to continue detoxifying the body.

Fresh coconut water

Fresh coconut water contains natural electrolytes such as potassium and sodium, helping the body to rehydrate, balance the electrolyte and reduce fatigue due to alcohol, help quickly recover the lost minerals in the body.

Drink 1 coconut (about 300-400 ml) immediately after drinking alcohol. Note do not drink more than 2 coconuts/day to avoid affecting the kidneys.

Fresh coconut water should drink immediately after opening the fruit to retain the best quality.
