Winter: the most warm and nutritious foods
A few days ago it rained. I went on the balcony to smell the wet soil and a little wet from the drops and made a warm chai. Once I hated winter. Today I am waiting for him. There is something about the body that seeks to warm up in winter. Even when we are at home with an air conditioner there is a desire for something hot. One that warms the body and probably the soul.If we think about it, even the fact that we are required to eat the food slowly so as not to get a burn in the mouth, makes us more aware of eating and performing more breathing and exhale. In fact, naturally we produce a kind of “mindfulness” during eating, that is – attentive eating accompanied by breathing, which contributes to calm and warm energy.

What foods should you consume in winter?

Food energy is determined by its heated (or cool) effect on the body and not by the temperature in which the food is eaten. Mint tea, for example, will leave a sense of coolness in the Pino, while frozen spicy chili will leave a sense of heat. There are some foods that are very suitable for use in the cold season, because of their warm properties. Here are some excellent examples.

A variety of tea types

Green Chinese tea, cinnamon tea, ginger tea, jasmine tea, chamomile tea – all of these have a warm (and comforting) effect during the winter.

Spices

Chili, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric. By the way, beyond the fact that they are warm, they also contribute to strengthening the immune system.

Vegetables and fruits

They are rich in immune protection components, filled with vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber. Since some of them are stored in the fridge, they can be removed about two hours before eating to get a little warming up.

Legumes

The legumes are also very rich in essential components such as protein, iron and various vitamins. In winter they are perfect for combining soup or casseroles.

Casseroles

Poika, Hamin or Gulash – All of these contain cooking heat and therefore also heat the body. These stews are also a wonderful source of dietary fiber, calcium, protein and minerals.

Soups

Soup is one of the most popular foods during the winter, and you can definitely understand that. You should prefer high nutritional soup such as: orange vegetable soup, broccoli soup or vegetable soup. Corn soup, by the way, is less recommended because it is relatively rich in carbohydrates.

Hadar fruits

These are a wonderful source of vitamin C consumption that is essential for the immune system. It is important to know that the absorption of the vitamin is best when consuming it directly from food and not through supplements.

You should know that exercise is also a great and recommended way to warm and strengthen it during the winter. You can find different ways to move in motion with a minimum of effort such as: short -lived trips, use of YouTube apps or dance for music sounds in the home living room.
