Does eating a lot of noodles cause kidney disease?

In general, instant noodles or packaged and processed foods are not direct causes of chronic kidney disease. But these foods can contribute to the risk of disease caused by many factors such as high salt content, metabolic fat, low nutrition, preservatives and additives.

Noodles are usually more salty than other foods due to the high salt content. The average amount of salt in each instant product package is about 5 g, equivalent to the daily salt demand of adults as recommended by the World Health Organization. However, one person needs to load other foods every day, leading to excess salt in the body.

Regularly eat packaging foods, making sodium salt accumulated over time, requiring more kidneys to work more to release, gradually beyond the ability to eliminate the kidneys. In addition, packaged and processed foods contain more preservatives than fresh foods, in the long run is harmful to health, including kidneys.

Eating instant noodles regularly in the long run is not good for health in general and kidney disease in particular. To reduce the risk of chronic kidney disease, you limit the use of packaging foods like instant noodles. If you eat noodles, you should limit or use 1/2 spices, salt available in the product, remove water and only eat noodles to reduce salinity.

People with hypertension, diabetes should drink enough water, reduce saline eating. Avoid using drugs, especially analgesic and antibiotics that are not prescribed by a doctor or unknown drug, origin … also limit the risk of kidney damage. People with a family history of diabetes, high blood pressure and glomerular disease should screen annually.

Kidney failure cannot be cured. If there is signs of renal disease such as reducing urine, heavy chest unknown, drowsiness, poor appetite, weight loss, itching, you need to go to a medical facility for a comprehensive evaluation. Early detection helps to improve the effectiveness of treatment slowed by kidney disease, prevent complications.
