The system of medical human resources training has developed dramatically with many universities and colleges with high results. The research and international cooperation topics are applied and transferred, gradually recognized by the world. The city’s medical team has mastered many intensive techniques such as organ transplantation, laparoscopic surgery, intervention, nuclear medicine, support for reproductive support, reaching a level of about some advanced countries. .

For example, in early 2024, the team of pediatricians 1 and Tu Du Hospital combined the uterus to save the first fetus of the first heavy heart defect in Vietnam as well as Southeast Asia. This technique requires a great job in the doctor’s skills, currently only a few places in the world are implemented. The project is honored as one of the 12 Vietnamese medical achievements.

According to Resolution 31 of the Politburo, Ho Chi Minh City is in the roadmap to build an advanced and modern health system, high -tech application, aiming to become the ASEAN Health Care Center. In the period of 2025-2030, the city focused on improving health, stature, longevity and quality of life of the people.

Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City and Gia Dinh People’s Hospital recognize the First -Class Labor Medal; Binh Thanh District Hospital received the second -class labor medal. The Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health increases Chi Thuong and Deputy Directors and former leaders of the health sector, who are also awarded the noble titles.
