In connection with the leaving of the United States, WHO limited contracts and took up the priority of projects

The World Health Organization began the process of determining the procedure for priorities and announced the introduction of a single limit for the duration of employees’ contracts.

The corresponding internal memorandum was signed on Monday, March 10, assistant to the general director of WHO Raul Thomas against the backdrop of the US decision on leaving the organization and the termination of its financing.

According to the document, the WHO management has three weeks to present priority projects.

At the same time, Thomas emphasized that “the staff is working on ensuring additional financing of the agency from countries, private donors and philanthropists”
