The best breakfast time for health

Nutrition expert shared the ideal breakfast time before 8:30, helping to control weight, blood sugar and cardiovascular health.

Nutrition expert Samantha Cassetty shared above, adding that on time for breakfast also helps control blood sugar.

“Breakfast plays a special role established by the body to eat and metabolize food in the morning,” she said. This is thanks to the biological rhythm, affecting sleep, energy and metabolism.

Research shows that consumers in most calories in the early morning are easier to maintain healthier weight. Ms. Cassetty noted, “In terms of metabolism”, breakfast before 8:30 is the ideal because the body is most sensitive to insulin in the morning, helping to handle carbohydrates effectively, stabilizing blood sugar and energy throughout the day.

Another study showed that late breakfast (after 9 hours instead of before 8 hours) and late dinner (after 21h instead of before 20h) increased cardiovascular risk, especially in women.

Ms. Cassetty recommends eating breakfast at a fixed hour because the body works well. A 2021 study showed that people who have a habit of breakfast regularly reduce calories and weight better than the other group.
