Vinmec medical system and Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have just signed a strategic cooperation to focus on the health care of the players.
The signing event took place on April 1 in Hanoi. Accordingly, Vinmec will send experienced experts to directly participate and accompany the health care of the players during the training and competition at major tournaments of AFF – Southeast Asian Football Championship, AFC – Asian Football Cup and FIFA – International Football Federation. In addition, the health system will support connectivity, enabling athletes to access advanced treatments, from the world’s leading team of experts and hospitals.

With the advantage of managing the Vietnam National Team, VFF will create favorable conditions for Vinmec’s health experts to participate in the health care for the players in the training and competition. In parallel, VFF will cooperate with Vinmec in scientific research, testing and applying advanced treatments in the field of sports medicine. This strategy aims to support Vinmec to complete and improve the quality, aiming to achieve the Certification of Excellent Medical Center according to FIFA (FIFA Sports Medicine Center of Excellence).
Immediately after the signing ceremony, the two sides will coordinate with the scientific seminar and intensive training program for sports medical teams, update new advances in diagnosis, treatment and recovery of trauma. In addition, the two units will deploy campaigns to disseminate knowledge and raise awareness about sports health care to the community in Vietnam.

Speaking about the cooperation between the two sides, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), said that the quality of professional treatment that Vinmec brought helped the players to be well cared for, thereby improving the performance of the teams. “We believe that, with the comprehensive strategic cooperation, the values we create for the players will increase, promote the development and sustainability of Vietnamese sports medicine,” Mr. Nguyen Van Phu said.

With this cooperation, Vinmec not only focused on treating injury but also raising awareness, prevention of injury and improving long -term physical strength. “We are committed to trying to train, research and apply advanced treatment methods to treat injuries, create the best psychology and physical strength for athletes to contribute to further improving the quality of sports medicine in Vietnam,” said Dr. Tran Trung Dung.
Earlier, Vinmec and VFF signed a cooperation agreement to take effect for three years (2022 – 2024) to finance examination, organize professional consultation and treatment for national team members.
