Men often eat animal organs, using alcoholic beverages that can reduce the quality and quantity of sperm.

Dr. Nguyen Tien Huy, Center for Reproduction Support, Tam Anh General Hospital in Hanoi, said that nutrition greatly affects the overall health as well as sperm. Men need to build a healthy diet, add foods to enhance testosterone hormone, improve blood circulation. The diet should ensure 4 essential nutrients: sugar, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. But there are some common dishes that are not good for reproductive health that men need to limit.

Processed meat

Fast food, bacon or canned foods often contain a lot of saturated fat, salt and preservatives that are not good for health. They increase bad cholesterol, the risk of obesity. Eating a lot for a long time negatively affects sperm health. Men should limit eating processed foods. Add to the daily menu of fish, vegetables, eggs, and milk.

Alcoholic beverages and stimulants

Alcoholic beverages often negatively affect the production of sperm, gradually reducing the quality of sperm. This is a common cause of hormonal disorders in men and increases the risk of testicular atrophy. Tobacco and stimulants also contain many toxic substances that affect sperm, increasing the risk of male infertility.

Animal organs

Animal organs contain high cholesterol content, increasing the risk of fatty blood, hypercholesterol, overweight, obesity … Animal organs can also contain heavy metal cadmium. This active ingredient is likely to cause chromosomal breakers, thereby reducing quality and hindering sperm creation. Animal organs are not processed hygienic, also causing the body to contaminate bacteria, tapeworms, and eggs from animals to humans.

Sweets

Men often eat sweet candies, chocolate, milk tea, soft drinks, tea … may have excess glucose in the blood, causing insulin to rise, hormonal imbalance, testosterone decline. This is the factor that reduces libido, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, affects the production and quality of sperm. Eating a lot of sweets also causes an increased risk of obesity, increasing insulin, diabetes or more serious cell damage and increases the likelihood of cancer.

Dr. Huy encourages men to choose dishes such as oysters, ginger, spinach, asparagus, carrots, garlic, apples, drink 2-3 liters of water to be good for health.
